Naturally, I was out with renewed energy, Netflix will wait! This was our third severe to extreme geomagnetic storm in 2 years and there was no chance to miss it. This gave us a brief but very intense display of red followed by many green waves dancing in the sky. Wonderful!
I chose this one for the portfolio as I love the way that lowlying mist enveloping the area gave this scene a dreamy feel. In truth I really thought it would ruin my chances of seeing the aurora that evening!
