This may not look like one of my most spectacular photos, but this is a major milestone in my Burren Light & Land project. The discovery of the endemic Burren Scotts pines, shrouded in a layer of mist at sunrise. I had an idea of where they could be looking at existing photography, but could not really pinpoint the location, until that morning. Determination does pay off!

A beautiful and primitive remote sight, those were spared from deforestation as being too close to water and flooding areas to get in the way of agriculture. They are thriving it seems!
