Frost came late in the season this year. There was a spell of cold weather last week and aside of taking a while to defrost the car it's always so exciting to hit the road into the Burren for good, crisp compositions. This location is one I visited many times in the past, always looking for the perfect shrub spread horizontally over stones.
This one did the trick quite well! Twilight did the rest with those beautifully layered clouds. All there was left to do was align the elements, and take the shot.
