I love getting in the car and going to Fahee in the morning. It's one of those places a wee bit far from my house and I never know what the cloud cover outlook is going to be out there when I stick my nose out the door. Even better at the start of spring, or the end of summer, when the sun is in the right place, just above the Turloughmore and Bouleevin hills.

This is when you can catch the best light as it bathes the Glencolumbkille valley down below and the view is enhanced with, hopefully, bands of low lying mist. The rocks of Fahee start glowing from an early rain, the grass turning yellow in places. What a wonderful view!
